Итак.
Я тут, видимо, очередной раз меняю работу, правда, на этот раз без смены конторы. Соответственно, я ухожу из текущей команды. На мое место, видимо, будет поставлен человек из уже работающих, и,соответственно, будет искаться человек предыдущего уровня. Job Summary
An Engineer of Infrastructure and Lab Management(ILM) team of Sun Microsystems Development Center in Saint-Petersburg(SPBDC) doing system and network administration support for SPBDCengineering teams.
This position will cover both support of SPBDC software engineering labs and part of site IT functions.
Job Description
Directlyresponsible for the engineering infrastructure and laboratorymultiplatform environment support (lab network, servers and other ITinfrastructure).
Maintain and manage Sun and x86 hardware running various versions of Solaris, Linux and Windows.
Manage a personal ServiceDesk queue and handle an allocated share of production work. Monitor the group ServiceDesk queue.
Design and implement new services and tools to better serve the engineering organizations within the laboratory.
Work closely with peer ILM teams in US and Prague Sun sites, including work on common projects.
Job requirements
Required knowledges and skills:
Strong Unix system administration experience;
Knowledge of TCP/IP stack;
Shell scripting;
Fluent English is a must including phone conversations experience;
Ability to work in a stress, changing environment, keeping projects within dates;
Ability to group work in projects within the team;
Desire to learn.
The following knowledges and skills will be a plus:
Hands-on experience with Solaris in production;
Hands-on experience with common Linux distributions (Suse, RedHat, Ubuntu);
Hands-on experience with Cisco;
Knowledge of Sun hardware;
Perl / PHP scripting experience;
Basic Java experience;
XML, XSLT, basic HTML;
Windows system administration;
Knowledge of RDBMS concepts.
